Want to contribute to the R ecosystem but don’t know where to start?

In this two-hour hackathon we will work in small groups on real contributions to base R and rOpenSci projects.

Examples of possible contributions:

• Analyze a bug in R
• Generate solutions to a bug in R
• Generate solutions to an issue listed in our hackathon project
• Review translations of rOpenSci materials

You can join if you want to take your first steps: there will be experienced people to support you, answer your questions, and help you turn an idea, an issue, or an improvement into a concrete contribution.

If you already have contributing experience, we also invite you to participate.
