Call for papers deadline extended again!

We have great news! We have decided to extend the submission deadline for LatinR 2026 once more.

Submit your proposal via OpenReview by June 15, 2026.

If you haven’t submitted your work yet, this is your last chance! You can participate with oral presentations, lightning talks, or posters.

Oral presentations: 15-minute talks (plus 5 minutes for questions) on research results, progress reports, or developments with impact on the use or development of R in academia or industry.
Lightning talks: 5-minute presentations to share advancements, ideas, ongoing research, experiences, and challenges related to LatinR’s themes.
Posters: an opportunity to present ongoing projects and progress during a dedicated session for dialogue with the audience.

If you don’t have an OpenReview account yet, follow these steps:

Go to openreview.net and click “Sign Up”.
Fill in the form with your first name, last name, and email address.
- If you use an institutional email (university or recognized organization), your account will be activated within a few days.
- If you use a personal email (Gmail, Hotmail, etc.), the verification process can take up to two weeks. Don’t leave it to the last minute!
Check your inbox and follow the confirmation link.
Once your account is active, go to the conference platform: LATIN-R.com/2026/Conference.

Create your OpenReview account in advance (see instructions above).
Prepare your abstract in PDF format, without author names or affiliations, in letter size, font size 11 with single spacing, no longer than two pages. You may use this template if you prefer a word processor.
Submit your proposal before June 15, 2026 through the OpenReview platform.

Notification of evaluation results: early July

Deadline for confirming participation: early August

Conference dates: November 11–13
